The short version
Meoww stores the information needed to run the trackers you choose. We do not sell your personal information. You can download a copy of your information or permanently delete your account from You → Account & data in the iOS app.
Information we collect
Depending on what you choose to use, Meoww may process:
- Account information such as your email address, display name, sign-in provider, and account identifiers.
- Profile and goal information such as age or birth date, height, weight, activity level, dietary preference, and tracker choices.
- Tracker entries for meals and nutrition, activity and GPS routes, sleep summaries, cycle notes, medication doses, spending and budgets, water, mood, habits, and skincare.
- Authorized Apple Health data used to calculate features you request. Meoww uploads derived sleep summaries and source names—not raw HealthKit samples—to your private account.
- Photos you choose to submit for meal, medication, prescription, or receipt analysis. These images are sent for processing when you request analysis; Meoww does not place them in permanent file storage.
- Basic technical information required by our hosting, authentication, and security providers to deliver and protect the service.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, save and sync your tracker entries, calculate the summaries and plans you request, analyze submitted images, maintain security, fix problems, and respond to support or privacy requests. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising.
Where information is processed
Meoww uses service providers for cloud authentication and databases, app hosting, and requested image analysis. These providers process information on our behalf under their security and data-processing controls. Some quick logs—currently water, mood, habits, and skincare—may be stored only on your iPhone and are included when that device prepares your data download.
Sharing
We share information only with providers needed to operate Meoww, when you direct us to share it, to comply with law, or to protect people and the service. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
Account and tracker information is kept while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We use authenticated access and row-level database controls so account records are private to their owner. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and protect access to your device.
Your choices
- Download: In the app, open You → Account & data → Download my data to create a portable JSON file.
- Delete: In the same section, choose Delete account. This permanently deletes the account and associated Meoww server data, and clears Meoww’s on-device account data on that iPhone.
- Permissions: You can change Health, camera, location, photo, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- Correction: You can edit supported tracker entries and account choices inside the app.
We may retain limited information only where law requires it or where needed to establish or defend legal claims.
Children
Meoww is not directed to children under 13. Personalized nutrition targets are designed for adults and are unavailable when the provided age is under 18.
Changes and contact
